This blog is to share N's (& now also E’s) progress while attempting to fix what we believe is possibly a mineral deficiency. Progress since beginning mineral supplements has been nothing short of amazing. In 2-3 weeks she (& he) has/have had more progress than what months and even years of therapy alone could/has done! Both kids have Spastic Diplegia (Cerebral Palsy). N is 12 and was born at 26-27 wk. E is 5 and was born at 29-30 wks. (updated Apr 2017)

Just realized that I hadn't seen any reports for a while and wondered how she was doing now! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteShe plateaued so we eventually stopped the minerals. Not even realizing it she had a pretty big growth spurt over this past year so add that to her lack of motivation (as a result of the plateau) and she has ended up losing most all of that progress. :( The one thing that did stick is her loosened heal cords so her feet are flat BUT she is now scheduled for surgery in Feb to have her hamstrings released and de-rotation of her legs (most likely at the knee). I was so excited about this incredible progress. Perhaps we need to give it another try after surgery.
